How To Perm Your Bets - Big Wins For Small Stakes - Perm Your Horse Racing and Football Bets.

Perming your bets is a great way of betting and a format i have adopted for many years in betting - and you can perm bets on anything - horse racing, football, cricket, first goal scorer and almost any bets you can make online or in the betting shop.

Perming bets is an ideal way for the punter to aim for a big win by including big priced outsider selections combined with more fancied selections.

You hope the bigger priced selection will be the winner but you always have the fall back on favourites.

You can also perm straight forecast doubles, and you can also perm bets from completely different sports events - by that i mean combine say a football bet with a horse in combinations with other sporting events, again of different sports.

Most perms involve 2 combinations within one event and doubled (or trebled or accumulated!) with other combinations, again within one event - but remember if you do completely separate sporting events you may get paid out on more winning bets!.

How's That? - well,if you do,lets say 2 straight forecasts within same race with another 2 selections, again in another same race there are 4 bets ( 2 times 2 ) but you can only win one correct straight forecast double.

However if you combined 2 straight forecasts from separate races and double (again you are not restricted to just doubles ) it is still 4 bets ( 2times2 ) but you can now win 1,2 or 4 straight forecast doubles!

Now Lets show some some simple examples for perms..............

Placepots,Jackpots,Scoop 6 and Other Tote Bets or ordinary SP accumulators.

Placepots,Jackpots and similar are basic perms and illustrate simply what perms are - but you can be much smarter with perms that I will explain later.

The above Tote bets have 6 races for you to win,so you have to perm your bets to have any chance.

2 in a race explains it simply,and your perm is 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 = 64 bets.

Maybe you think the last race is hard and want 3 selections in there - it is now - 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 3 = 96 bets.

Maybe the first race is easy and you want a banker there - it is now - 1 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 = 32 bets.

And so on - just multiply your number of bets in each race out.

   Ordinary Double,Trebles Accumulators.

Exactly the same - and remember these perms are for selections within one race or sporting event - separate event perms later.

Just multiply them out !.

Some examples for doubles - 3 selections in one race and 2 in another is just 6 bets ( 3 X 2 = 6)........4 selections in one race and 3 in another is 12 bets ( 4 X 3 = 12 ).

Some examples for trebles - 2 selections in one race,then 3 and 4 selections - 24 bets (2 X 3 X 4)........3 selections then 4 then 4 = 48 bets..

Exactly the same for accumulators with as many legs as you want just multiply them out.

Bankers - If you have a banker in any leg then just ignore that in multiplications...........for example a 4 timer with a banker in first race - 1 X 2 X 2 X 2 = 8 bets.

Straight Forecast Perms.

Straight forecasts are absolutely perfect for perming your bets - huge payout for tine stakes.

If straight forecasts are your bets of choice you would be advised to read another article of mine Straight Forecast Doubles where perms for these bets is gone into more detail than this article can display.

2 Separate Event bets in perms.

Most perms are on different outcomes within on sporting event - but they don't need to be!.

Again you can bet on anything in perms - this time lets use football.

Maybe you fancy Arsenal to win and Chelsea also to win in separate games - you can perm these 2 outcomes with any other football outcomes you think might happen.

Maybe you also fancy Liverpool and Spurs to win, again in separate games - it is exactly the same as doing ordinary doubles as explained above - that is 2 X 2 = 4 bets.

But there is a big difference this time - you are not trying to win one double but 4 doubles!.

If they all win you get 4 winning bets,if 1 wins in one combination and 2 win in the other you get 2 winning bets, and if just 1 wins in each combination you still get 1 winning bet which should at least cover your original stake.

And again you are not restricted to doubles, you can do trebles and upwards - just the same as explained in ordinary bets explanation above.

Doubles, and Trebles within larger Number selections.

A bit more complicated but not too difficult!.

Maybe you want 5 selections of 2 combinations, this time horse racing.

You bet 2 selections in 5 permed combinations - you know that 5 selections is 10 doubles (if you don't know that read another article of mine - Work out Doubles and Trebles article).

So,each double is 4 bets and there are ten doubles,so the number of bets for full cover double bets is 4 X 10 = 40 bets - your perm now covers every possible double.

Maybe you did trebles - each treble is 8 bets and there are 10 trebles in 5 selections so full cover is 8 X 10 = 80 bets - your perm now covers all possible trebles.

And so on.

What happens when you include banker in doubles within many selections?.

Best explained by examples - you got one banker and four 2 bet combinations.

Ignore banker for now - you have 4 races with 2 bets - you know that's 4 bets each double, and you know there are 6 doubles within 4 selections,so...................4 X 6 - 24 bets - keep that total in mind.

Now the banker part of bet is calculated - simple! - that banker bet goes onto those four 2 selection bets - that is 1 X 2 = 2 bets onto each of the 4 combinations = 8 more bets to add to total.

So,what you got ? - You have 24 bets plus 8 bets which equals 32 bets which gives you full cover for all doubles within you 5 selections.

One more example - you have 2 bankers and 2 other 2 bet combinations.

This time just 2 bets with 2 combinations,so that is 2 X 2 = 4 bets keep that total in mind.

Now you have to calculate bets in bankers with other bankers which is easy 1 X 1 = 1 bet, keep that total in mind.

Now you have to calculate bankers bets with other 2 bet selections - each banker has 2 bets (1 X 2 ) with all 2 bet combos........there are two 2 bet combos,so each banker has 4 bets in all with those combos. There are 2 bankers so that makes 8 bets in all - add this to the other totals carried forward.

So,add the sub totals together - 4 plus 1 plus 8 = 13 bets for full cover perms for all doubles within the above example.

More difficult with trebles within larger number of selections - but just same principle as above for doubles.

You can also do more than 2 selections in each combination, just follow above to work out bets - the number of bets will rocket with more selections, but you can do perms, particularly straight forecasts from just a penny a line,so lots of bets for a modest outlay which is the great attraction of perming your bets.

A couple of things to bear in mind....

If you are a Betfair Customer - do not do perms on the multiple section of the Betting Exchange (the Sportsbook Section of Betfair is O.K.!).This is because Betfair Exchange Multiples view perms as an aggregated bet and you will only get paid marginally higher odds than the shortest price selection if the outsider of your perm wins - which defeats the whole object of betting in perms!.

Some online bookmakers sites are pretty basic and you will struggle to get some of these complicated perms onto their system - though bookmakers are slowly offering more sophisticated betting options to their customers with better software - when betting in perms your high street bookie often offers a better service - a written bet slip will be accepted at all betting offices if your own online site cannot yet cope with permed bets.

Good Luck with those perms!.
