How to Work Out Your Yankee Bet Winnings – Calculate Your Yankee Bets In Seconds By Mobile Phone or Tablet Calculator.
This article will let you work out your Yankee bets easily and quickly by calculator.

Best way is just to give an example and explain from there.
Simple start – 4 winners in Yankee bet – 2/1 , 3/1/, 5/1 ,8/1.
First stage is to look at each price,go through the legs one by one and enter odds into calculator.
However,you need to adjust all odds by adding 2 units to each price – by that i mean that 2/1 now becomes 4 and 3/1 now becomes 5 and so on.
So,just enter 4 × 5 × 7 × 10 -easy,first stage done.
Next,you always need to deduct 1 to remove unit and make returns accurate.
So,now the equation is now 4 × 5 × 7 × 10 – 1 = 1399.00
By the way,the above equation gives you the returns for a £1 Lucky 15 bet £1,399.00) – no more to do for that bet because the Lucky 15 contains singles – but you have not got singles when doing a Yankee bet,so you are not finished yet.
To get rid of the singles being included in result you need to just deduct,one by one the returns for a £1 bet from equation.

So,lets take those singles out – now the formula is…..
4 × 5 × 7 × 10 – 1 – 3 – 4 – 6 – 9 = 1377.00 – £1377.00 returns for £1 bet.
If you bet in .25p ,just make one further calculation by × .25 at the very end,which gives your winnings of £344.25 for .25p yankee,and so on.
More dificult example – 4 winners in Yankee Bet 13/8, 7/4, 8/13,11/4.
Much more difficult at first sight ,but not for your calaculator and its just as quick as first easy example to work out.
Again add double unit to each price – just go through them one at a time – 13/8 becomes 29/8, 7/4 becomes 15/4 and so on.
So formula is 29 ÷ 8 × 15 ÷ 4 × 34 ÷ 13 × 19 ÷ 4 – 1……………167.88 (£167.88)
You now have returns for Lucky 15,but you need to deduct singles.
Experienced bettors will know the odds to a £1 and just deduct £2.625 for 13/8,£2.75 for 7/4 and so on,but you may need to work out price for each single before proceeding.
So,this is what you enter 29 ÷ 8 × 15 ÷ 4 × 34 ÷ 13 × 19 ÷ 4 – 1 – 2.625 – 2.75 – 1.62 – 3.75 = 157.13 (£157.13)

Another Yankee bet – this time just 3 winners – 15/8, 4/1, 11/8.
Exactly same procedure,even though you have just 3 winners – just enter 3 prices.
Equation is 31 ÷ 8 × 6 × 27 ÷ 8 – 1 – 2.87 – 5 – 2.38 = 67.22 (£67.22).
Always remember to deduct 1 after odds are multiplied,and just make the last calculation for the odds you have bet in (× .25 for 25p,×.05 for 5p,× 2.5 for £2.50 units.)
So,get used to this procedure – enter each price one by one,and you can work out any Yankee Bet in a matter of seconds !.
