Horses are tested here with a downhill bend into the straight and then they face a grueling uphill finish to the winning line.
Only 5 furlong races are straight at Beverley - and there are slight kinks and bends to negotiate in those races.
You need horses that will battle to the line as the uphill finish is formidable compared to many other tracks.
Most U.K. tracks are left handed - but Beverley is different as the course is right handed.
You must take draw bias into account when betting at Beverley - low numbers are most definitely needed for all races of a mile and under,with special stress on the low draw bias of 5 furlong races.
