How to Work Out The Number of Trebles in Any Number of Selections for Your Horse Racing and Sports Bets - Quickly and Easily.

You may not understand some things in this article, but other articles may help at HOME > articles.

Maybe you just want trebles in your selections and do not want to do other bets like Yankees or Lucky 15 bets, that have doubles, singles and a set number of wagers every time.

This article will explain how you can very quickly,by mobile phone calculator,or manually, work out the number of treble bets in any number of selections.

The number you need to remember when calculating trebles is 6.

6 will always be the lower half of the fraction ( 1 × 2 × 3  for trebles).

Some examples to explain.....

Start with easy one - The number of Trebles in 4 Selections.

Of,course those selections can be horses, football teams,or any other sports bets you may make.

As you are doing trebles you need top 3 (for trebles) numbers of selections.

In this case,with 4 selections,it is 4 × 3 × 2.

That is your top fraction - divided by the 6,which is the number for you to remember, and must use every time you calculate trebles in bets.

So,the equation in this case 4 × 3 × 2 ÷ 6 = 4 = 4 trebles.

As simple as that every time - and as you do these more often you will see that the above fractions of 3 × 2 (which is 6) cancels out the bottom 6 - which just leaves the 4 (which is 4 trebles).

Another example, this time more selections - Number of Trebles in 8 Selections.

Just as easy and quick - same procedure - use that 6 as bottom fraction.

So, trebles in 8 selections is 8 × 7 × 6 ÷ 6 = 56 Trebles.

Again,no need to do full calculation,as you see that the top 6 cancels out the bottom 6,which just leaves the 8 × 7 = 56.

Big number of selections are just as simple - Number of Trebles in 25 Selections.

Just do exactly the same.

25 × 24 × 23  ÷ 6 = 2,300 trebles.

You will probably never use numbers this high, but it explains how quickly you can work out any number of selections on your mobile phone or tablet calculator - the above equation for 25 selections takes about 3 seconds!.
