HOW TO WIN THE SCOOP 6 - Tactics and Strategy.Scoop 6 Perms,Scoop 6 Explanation and Rules.

The Scoop 6 is a Jackpot bet that is based on English horse racing every Saturday.

As the name implies there are 6 races in the bet and racing fans can indeed scoop a huge payout if they predict the 6 winners of the selected races, with the possibility of also playing for another huge payout as they get one shot at the carried forward bonus fund.

No matter whether you have single line or perm - wait for pot to grow - let other punters fill the cash prize before you bet!.

Common sense really to wait for pot to grow - and it can quickly grow to millions of pounds - the odds are exactly the same on first week as they are when pot is huge - but your payout will be many times higher if you do manage to pull it off when those bonuses have rolled over a couple of weeks.

Perhaps most bettors will realistically approach the Scoop 6 with the point of view of winning the PLACE part of the bet. This is a sort of consolation to punters who do not get all six winners but get pretty close - the place part of Scoop 6 is not to be sniffed at as this has paid thousands of pounds many times in the past.

The Scoop 6 is not a cheap bet as each line will cost you 2 - with, unlike the Placepot and Quadpot,no smaller denominations allowed when perming your bets.

So,if you do a modest perm of just 2 in each race it will cost you 128,which is too much for average player to invest on what is a lottery style betting proposition.

Maybe you should just do a straight line for 2 ? - will that make it impossible to win - No!.

Many English punters will remember the formidable Mrs.Haddock who did just that, and her 2 straight line won her the thick end of 1 million pounds a few years ago.

To the chagrin of seasoned horse form students,I remember Mrs.Haddock on TV going through her selections after the win and explaining that most of the selections were based on her relatives and friends names - many sniggered, but she achieved what most horse racing experts have been trying to do for decades(myself included) - and failed to get even close.

So,you can indeed win with a straight line, but suggest most of us will need some sort of perm to be successful at the Scoop 6.

Maybe you ought to combine bets with friends and families and pool your resources.

That 128 for 2 selections a race now looks less frightening if shared between 4 or 5 friends.

Maybe you can put a banker in 1 of the races - that straight away cuts your bet in half - it is now 64.

Just multiply out your selections to find the number of bets in Scoop 6 (remember you PLACE part of bet is included within the 2 bet cost.)

Some examples of perms to consider....

2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 2  =  64 bets = 128.

2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 1  =  32 bets = 64.

2 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 1 X 1  =   16 bets = 32.

2 X 2 X 2 X 1 X 1 X 1  =   8 bets = 16.

3 X 3 X 2 X 2 X 2 X 2  =   144 bets = 288.

Just multiply out the numbers - you can do as many or as few as you want in each race as you want.

Punters of Scoop 6 should also be aware that when the Scoop 6 and the Bonus funds reach a certain level, the syndicates will move in.

These syndicates will bet 4 or 5 horses in each race and if the pot warrants it,wager tens of thousands of pounds with their multiple bets in the hope of taking the pot away from smaller punters who kindly donated their money in previous unsuccessful Scoop 6 bets.

However,as the redoubtable Mrs.Haddock proves they don't win them all,and if those syndicates are not winners their money, like everybody else's can be won by your average Saturday horse player.
